National School Walkout On Parkland Anniversary

Today marks a month since the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL which killed 17 students and staff. Since then, a massive, nationwide movement led by students from that school and from schools around the country have mobilized to demand meaningful gun control measures. They've already had limited success in Florida, where the National Rifle  Rampage Association (NRA)  has dictated gun policy for years, with some modest changes in state law.

Today, students across the country are walking out of their classrooms at 10 a.m. local time and observing 17 minutes of silence, one for each life lost at Stoneman Douglas. Students from the D.C. metropolitan area gathered in front of the White (Supremacist) House and turned their backs in protest:

Demagogue and NRA captive Donald "Rump" Trump recently caved to the NRA by backing away from a proposal to raise the legal age for purchasing a semi-automatic rifle from 18 to 21. The HuffPo has ongoing national coverage of the walkout here.

BONUS: What could possibly go wrong with Rump's / NRA's plan to arm teachers?
