After deranged, racist lawyer Aaron Schlossberg was caught on video threatening to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Spanish-speaking patrons and workers at a New York City food store, New Yorkers have made sure that he understands that his racism has consequences. After the video of him went viral, reporters from a range of media from the New York Post to the New York Daily News began looking into his background of bigoted right-wing activism. That led to the revelation that he's not a member of the New York State Bar Association, despite his website's claim that he was, and to the landlord of his building kicking him out. Two prominent New York politicians have filed a grievance with the court system, and called on the state bar association to distance themselves from him, which it has.
In the age of bullying bigot Donald "Rump" Trump, it's good to see that his supporters won't be given a pass on their racist behavior. Bravo to those New Yorkers who are making it happen.
