What's A Solemn Oath To Trump?

When he shamed America by swearing his oath of office on January 20, 2017, demagogue and neo-fascist Donald "Rump" Trump had no idea what the Constitution requires. After all, he's acted ever since as though the U.S. government was his private company to pursue enemies and extract vengeance on people that have offended him, as a banana republic dictator might. The press has been a particular target of his goal of transforming the U.S. into an autocracy / kleptocracy, with himself as the dictator, and the free press is among the first targets of tyrants. Here's this morning's tweet from the unhinged monster:
So any "negative" news about him is, by definition, "fake news." Not surprising. But he goes on to muse ominously about denying credentials to media who criticize him or present "negative" stories about him. Here's the oath he swore:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
And here's the First Amendment to the Constitution:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." (emphasis added)
His oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution" doesn't seem to cover the Constitution's First Amendment, does it? Resist and vote.
