The corrupt administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott "Screw It" Pruitt, resigned this afternoon (more likely fired) after months of scandals and investigations saw increased calls for his ouster. While popular with the nihilist demagogue in the Oval Office for protecting polluters and cutting regulations protecting the environment and clean air and water, Pruitt had become a liability as Rethugs face difficult 2018 mid-term elections.
His scandals and sense of privilege ranged from having his staff run personal errands like fetching a particular skin lotion, to running up $3 million in personal security costs, far more than Cabinet members of his level. It was recently disclosed that Pruitt had lobbied Trump to fire Confederate States Attorney General Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III and appoint him to the position. That would have been like giving the crook the keys to his jail cell.

Good riddance, Pruitt, you rotten grifter. Had you been a Democrat, you'd have been gone the instant you started your long con. But you were busy destroying all of the environmental protection laws and running up a criminal spending account, so Trump thought you were perfect for the job.
Prison would be a great ending to your story, Pruitt, but you're a privileged white guy, so I'll just hope you have a long, miserable life filled with one terrible thing after another.
donnah -- The legacy he's left at the EPA -- with the damage to our water and air, and the license he's given to polluters-- will overshadow his petty greed and grifting. The damage he's done in the past 18 months will be felt for years to come, until the Dems take control.
