Xenophobic demagogue and bigot Donald "Rump" Trump has continually railed against what he calls "chain migration" for years. It's the situation where immigrants settling in the U.S. gradually bring their family members to the U.S. to live and work. It's another of his dog whistles aimed at his cult of bigots who, as hateful shrieker Laura Ingraham put it, see "their" America's demographic changing from white to off-white. Of course, it's different when the family is European ("merit based"), rather than say Latino, South Asian or African.
Yesterday, we witnessed Rump's utter hypocrisy and bigotry on the subject, when his in-laws from Slovenia were made American citizens. Viktor and Amalija Knavs were protected under green cards sponsored by their daughter and Rump's third wife
