For Cruz, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

News Item: Pathological liar and unhinged demagogue Donald "Rump" Trump will visit Texas in October to campaign for himself for smarmy creep "Tailgunner" Ted Cruz. Tailgunner Ted must be pretty worried about the tight race he's in with Dem Beto O'Rourke that he would invite someone that...well, let's roll the tapes:

You can be sure that if Rump talks about Tailgunner Ted at all at the rally, it will be tepid and grudgingly. It'll more likely resemble one of his own self-gratifying rallies because it's always, always, about Rump and his demons and obsessions. Here's hoping that by the time of the visit, old videos like these and ones with Rump blasting Tailgunner Ted will saturate Texas airwaves. They richly deserve each other.

Republicans like Cruz have no spine, no guts, zero integrity. If someone publicly insulted/slandered anyone in my family, knives and daggers would be out, and they would not be tucked away again. And to sell out one's integrity to be temporarily in Trump's favor is completely unforgivable. Not that Cruz ia worth a shit anyway.

The ass-kissing in the Republican Party is outdone only by the corruption.

donnah -- It's incredible how lacking in integrity, courage and principles the Rethuglicans are. Yet, they con their base into thinking just the opposite -- and the gullible base swallows it.

Cruz has decided he's got no choice but to lie down with this dog, fleas or no fleas.

How pathetic to be so fixated on getting re-elected as to be willing to sacrifice the last tattered remnants of dignity and self-respect for it. There are worse things than not being in the Senate.

But I guess the fact that I feel that way is why I'm not a politician.

Infidel -- He seems to have no core and nothing beyond a desire for power at any cost, including whatever respect he got from his maligned wife. It shows him to be hollow and not worthy of any public trust.
