Tis sweet, indeed. i hope the “Cave Man” moniker sticks. It will eat him up inside like nothing else, because failure is his nemesis. And on a global stage...ouch! Pass the Tums!
So we have three weeks to gird our loins for the backlash, and it will be a shitstorm. We may have scored a hit in the battle, but the war rages on, and now we've humiliated a bully and that won't end well. I'm sure Nancy P isn't resting on her laurels, and I hope the Democratic House is gearing up as well.
But I'll take a win, and a sweet ne at that.
donnah -- It eats him up, too, because his humiliation came at the hands of a woman. We're betting that Rethug politicians have no stomach for another shutdown, after the debacle they just witnessed. He'll probably be forced to accept whatever the Dems cobble together for "border security" without a wall / slats / barriers, and claim success.
