QOTD -- Government By Clueless Sociopaths

"Ordinarily, one might expect a presidential administration’s leading economic figures to understand something of these financial realities. But if they cared about people who aren’t rich, they wouldn’t be working for Trump in the first place. The shocking thing isn’t their indifference to the misery they’re causing. It’s that they can barely be bothered to hide it."-- Michelle Goldberg in "Who Needs a Paycheck Anyway?", following comments by the owner and namesake of the Trump Shutdown that grocery stores would "work along" with furloughed Federal workers who can't pay for food; comments by economic adviser Larry "Wrong Way" Kudlow that furloughed employees were "volunteering" for unpaid work out of "love of country" and "allegiance" to Trump; and comments by desiccated grifter and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross that those workers should just go out and get a bank loan to tide them over.

Trump's entire presidency has been a big grift. Virtually none of his administrators had experience in governing; they were all money-grubbing scum. Trump handed out positions in his Cabinet like lollipops to his best little friends, so it should surprise exactly no one that they're useless criminals who cannot steer the country in a positive direction. A true Ship of Fools.

So we could never expect any of them to relate to working stiffs. They cannot comprehend living from one paycheck to the next, having to decide between bologna vs Spam for dinner, hoping their halved doses of insulin will keep them going.

I hate those fuckers. I hate every last one of them. it's criminal, the way they think and what they do. They all belong in prison.

Eating bologna and Spam.

donnah -- never again should this party of sociopaths, traitors, misfits, bigots, hypocrites and incompetents be allowed near the levers of power.
