25th Amendment Discussed Re: Trump-Russiagate

In a CBS 60 Minutes interview to be aired on Sunday, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe stated that senior Justice Department officials discussed whether to approach Cabinet members to remove Kremlin asset and con man Donald "Rump" Trump from office under the 25th Amendment to the Constitution. Eight of the fifteen Cabinet members would have to vote to remove Rump from office. The discussions were broached after the firing of former FBI Director James Comey for his refusal to stop the investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 elections in support of Rump.

In a virtual admission of obstruction of justice, Rump went on TV with NBC's Lester Holt to acknowledge that he fired Comey because of "the Russia thing."  Following that admission, McCabe was concerned that the investigation would be derailed by Rump in order to protect himself and his associates from criminal and possibly treasonous charges. Special Counsel Robert Mueller was appointed shortly after.

Bring the popcorn Sunday.
