He threatened the judge. Now, throw the book at him!
Oh boy. Judge Amy Berman Jackson doesn't seem happy with Roger Stone. pic.twitter.com/jCS7QJ2X2T— Natasha Bertrand (@NatashaBertrand) February 19, 2019
“...Further, Defendant is advised to bring his toothbrush.”— frankGinDC (@frankgindc) February 19, 2019
"And soap-on-a-rope for those awkward prison showers."
There has to be zero tolerance for what Stone did. His entire history in politics has been one colored by intimidation, threats and contempt for the law. He's had his chances but he couldn't help but revert to type. Let's see how the fascist fop cosplays an orange jumpsuit. Lock. Him. Up!
Stone is a snide, smug, pompous egomaniac. If he thought he was being clever, he was badly mistaken. This judge tolerates no fools, and it's my sincere belief that he should spend the rest of his decidedly unnatural life in prison on her order.
ReplyDeletedonnah -- we can think of almost (almost) no one more deserving of a long, long stint in the slammer.
ReplyDeleteFollowing the old playbook. A: Tweet/say/post ANYTHING. You know what you're doing. Make sure you give it enuf time to get noticed. B: Take it down. C: Apologize.
ReplyDeleteYup, even if it is someone who holds your future in the balance. I, too, hope the Judge gives him what has longtime been coming to this A*****E!!
FM -- right; get the message out, then an insincere walk back. He thinks, like Rump, everyone is more stupid than he is. He's about to learn otherwise.
