Promise Made, Promise Broken (UPDATED)

Surprise!
Trump’s “Budget for a Better America” features dozens of spending cuts and policy overhauls.
Total spending on Medicare, the popular health-care program for the elderly that in the past he had largely said he would protect, would be reduced by about $845 billion over 10 years(our emphasis)
While his budget is dead on arrival in the Democratic House, it still reveals Trump's "values," priorities, and a belief that his supporters are dolts who either won't find out, or won't believe that he screws them, or simply won't care.  MAGA, suckers!

UPDATEMother Jones has a graphic that shows the winners and losers in Trump's "budget":

  1. It's basically a typical Republican budget... more money for the defense industry, less for the lower and middle classes.
