QOTD -- Your Democratic Sampler

"Whatever issue brings you here today, I guarantee you it’s touched by corruption. So here’s how I think about this. We have got to make changes. Not nibbling change. Not one statute over here and one over there and a little piece of regulation over there. We need big systemic change in this country."-- Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), at a town hall meeting Saturday in Cincinnati.

“It was given to him, just like he’s inherited everything else in his life. And just like everything else he’s been given in his life, he’s in the process of squandering that as well.”--  former VP Joe Biden on Trump inheriting the "Obama-Biden" economy, in his Philadelphia campaign kickoff rally Saturday.

It is the nature of grotesque things that you can’t look away.”-- Mayor Pete Buttigieg, asked by Fux "News'" Chris Wallace about the attraction of Trump's tweets to some, including the media, at an event in New Hampshire.

When you lift up the economic status of women, you lift up their families, their neighborhoods, and all of society.”-- Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), in Los Angeles Sunday, in outlining her plan for equal pay for equal work for women in corporate America.

I'm impressed with these frontrunners and hope they continue to define and refine their images. Choosing one is going to be tough, and hopefully none of them shoots him/herself in the footnalong the way. we have a long way yet to go, so I'm looking forward to their progress.
