Running Scared: Trump Vows To Remove "Aliens"

Red meat, stat!

Playing to his base, bigoted demagogue and would-be dictator Donald "Not Exonerated" Trump tweeted yesterday that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers would begin arresting "millions of illegal aliens" next week and expedite their deportation. Predictably, his tweet came before he appears tonight at another of his Nuremberg rallies, this time in Orlando, FL to "announce" his re-election campaign and incite the rubes against Dems, immigrants and the press / "enemy of the people." Looks like he actually believes his internal polling which shows him losing in a number of critical states.

The plan to arrest thousands -- not millions --  of undocumented immigrants has been in the works for many weeks, so his tweet was intended to be campaign catnip for the red cap mob. Since Trump has no real respect for law enforcement (unless they can be used as a prop for him), ICE was caught off guard:
"Large-scale ICE enforcement operations are typically kept secret to avoid tipping off targets. In 2018, Trump and other senior officials threatened the mayor of Oakland, Calif., with criminal prosecution for alerting city residents that immigration raids were in the works. [snip] U.S. officials with knowledge of the preparations have said in recent days that the operation was not imminent, and ICE officials said late Monday night that they were not aware that the president planned to divulge their enforcement plans on Twitter." (our emphasis)
Would that criminal charges be brought against Trump once he's removed from office for the alert. The silver lining is that undocumented immigrant families now have time to plan and perhaps seek sanctuary in a friendly jurisdiction, ironically thanks to the narcissistic, criminal blowhard in the White (Supremacist) House.

BONUSTrump's undocumented former employees were there in Orlando to expose his immigration hypocrisy.

BONUS II:  Apparently their Lord Savior Trump was unable to stop the storms from lashing the true believers as they waited outside the arena, which they weren't allowed to enter. "Avant moi, le deluge"? Bwahahahaha.
