QOTD -- What A Fool Believes

"It's not only a conspiracy, it is completely debunked.... At this point I am deeply frustrated with what [Rudy Giuliani] and the legal team is doing and repeating that debunked theory to the president. It sticks in his mind when he hears it over and over again, and for clarity here, George, let me just again repeat that it has no validity. The United States government reached its conclusion on attributing to Russia the DNC hack in 2016 before it even communicated it to the FBI, long before the FBI ever knocked on the door at the DNC." -- former Trump homeland security advisor Tom Bossert, yesterday on ABC's "This Week."  Bossert was referring to the crackpot conspiracy theory that it was Ukraine, rather than Russia, who interfered in the 2016 election and has the hacked DNC server.  Deranged narcissist Donald "The Chosen One" Trump had asked the Ukrainian president to "get to the bottom" of it in his incriminating phone call on July 25 (top of p. 3 in memorandum of call).  Forever the frightened loon, acting in his own best interest and that of his master in the Kremlin.

BONUS:  Distraction alert!  Apparently two of the worst Republican Senators (and that's saying a lot) are pressuring the Justice Department to look into these ludicrous conspiracy theories.  Unfortunately, neither of these slugs is up for re-election until 2022.
