ABC News is reporting that Trump's buffoonish consigliere and unhinged TV lawyer Rudy "Ghouliani" Giuliani is part of a criminal investigation by Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) who are looking at his role in the illegal campaign financing scheme involving his two "clients," Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman who were indicted and arrested late Wednesday before they could flee on a flight to Vienna. The report states:
"Parnas and Fruman, two Soviet-born, Florida-based businessmen, assisted Giuliani in his effort to dig up dirt on Joe Biden and his family. The association among the three men goes back several years. Giuliani has represented Parnas and Fruman in the past.Parnas and Fruman were seen as Giuliani's corrupt go-betweens in efforts to pressure Ukrainian officials to open a sham investigation into former VP Joe Biden's son Hunter, who served on the board of a Ukrainian gas company, in an effort to smear Biden on behalf of Trump's reelection campaign.
The two men were charged Thursday with four counts, including conspiracy to commit campaign finance fraud, false statements to the Federal Election Commission, and falsification of records."
