This Week's Impeachment Hearing Schedule

Here's your schedule of impeachment hearing witnesses for this week (courtesy Daily Kos):

Tuesday morning

-- Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman, the National Security Council’s top Ukraine expert, who was among those listening to the July 25 call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and subsequently raised concerns with NSC lawyers.
-- Jennifer Williams, an aide to Mike Pence whom Trump attacked by tweet over the weekend as a “Never Trumper.”

Tuesday afternoon

-- Kurt Volker, the former United States special envoy to Ukraine whose texts with Rudy Giuliani helped send the impeachment inquiry into overdrive.
-- Tim Morrison, an NSC Europe and Russia expert who worried that news of the July 25 call would leak, though he said he didn’t think anything on it was illegal.

Wednesday morning

-- Gordon Sondland, one of the leaders in pressing Trump's extortion demands.

Wednesday afternoon

-- Laura Cooper, deputy assistant secretary of defense for Russian, Ukrainian, and Eurasian affairs.
-- David Hale, undersecretary of state for political affairs.

Thursday

-- Fiona Hill, former NSC senior director for Europe and Russia, who, like Vindman, raised concerns about Trump's Ukraine dealings with the NSC counsel, only to watch a cover-up put in place.

-- David Holmes, State Department aide who overheard Sondland's phone call with Trump where Trump asked about the status of the Biden investigations.

While the likely- to- be- refreshed memory of  incompetent conspirator Gordon "What's App" Sondland on Wednesday is certain to be a highlight, each witness brings his/ her own potential for a new revelation, despite having had the depositions made public (except for potentially Sondland's "refreshed" memory of crime family boss Donald "The Dumb Don" Trump's direct role in the extortion/ bribery scheme). Let's also not forget that Kurt Volker might have some 'splaining to do, based on other witness testimony. Tune in.

  1. I'll watch some of the testimony this week. There were some riveting moments last week, especially with Amb Voyonovich. It will be interesting to see what happens with Sondland, since he had to clean up after himself in his second round of testimony. Will he continue to claim that he does not remember key elements? I have heard that he cannot plead the Fifth on topics he has already testified to, but can plead that on material for which he has not spoken. He's an idiot, but he holds a lot of important info and he needs to spill his ample guts and get himself right with God. Why these crooks fail to understand that honesty is the best policy and that lies come back to bite them is a mystery to me.

    They're all craven cowards.

  2. donnah -- I think these jamokes think they're smarter than everyone else and can lie and bluff their way through. (In Trump's case, he's never been held accountable for his lies, crimes and misbehavior throughout his adult life, so why stop now?)
