Impeachment Inquiry Hearings Resume [UPDATED]
Impeachment inquiry hearings resume today, with testimony from National Security Council aide Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman and Jennifer Williams, assistant to VP Mike "Dense" Pence appearing this morning. They will be followed by former ambassador Kurt Volker, one of the "three amigos" involved in the Ukrainian shakedown scandal, and NSC official Tim Morrison, who was also in the middle of the scandal.
Expect Vindman and Williams to bolster the fact that con man and Russian asset Donald "Impeachable Me" Trump sought to bribe Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with military aid in exchange for extorting manufactured political dirt on former VP Biden and his son. In the afternoon, Volker has some tap dancing to do, as his deposition has been contradicted by sworn testimony from several officials on the matter of whether Volker knew there was a bribe offer made by Trump. Alternatively, he offered evidence of corrupt nutjob Rudy "Rudy Colludey" Giuliani's role in the "shadow shakedown" of Ukraine with his clownish thug henchmen, "Igor and Lev."
UPDATE: As expected, Trump's "mini-me" and tin foil hatter Rep. Devin "Numbnuts" Nunes used his opening statement and his questioning of Vindman and Williams to repeatedly push discredited conspiracy trash about the Bidens, using Burisma as a mantra to try to deflect from the subject of the hearing: Trump's shakedown call of July 25. He later tried to get Vindman to out the whistleblower. He's a dishonest, scummy, cowardly hack.
