During yesterday's House floor session to vote on moving forward with a formal process (ironically devised by Rethuglican House members years ago) for the impeachment inquiry, numerous House Rethugs rose to oppose transparency and to question what everyone has seen with their own eyes: their Dear Leader withheld military aid from an ally under attack from Russia to obtain political dirt on a possible 2020 opponent. Among the Trump cultists was the sniveling messenger boy for the White (Supremacist) House, Rep. Devin "The Farmer" Nunes, who compared the closed sessions that have been hearing depositions to a "cult." Congresswoman Jackie Speier, who was wounded 5 times at the Jonestown site in 1978 when Rep. Along with Nunes, the Trump cultists were in full projection mode yesterday, even claiming that the rules that they adopted years ago were somehow reflective of the Soviet Union, a charge that they may want to reconsider given the affection of their Dear Leader for ex-KGB officer Putin's Russia. So many rakes to step on, so little time.

Republicans, already known as the party of hypocrisy, can add the bonafides for party of projection. It's what they do, it's who they are. Whatever evils they falsely accuse Democrats of, you know in spades that they're guilty of it ten times over.
I'm so tired of their bullshit. They're as transparent as glass when it comes to their posturing and lying. It's a corrupt, rotted, cruel political sham group and I so desperately want them to be held accountable for a change.

So true! And we have to accept the fact that the party of corruption is going to hang together, no matter how obvious their lies are. They are unlike the Republicans of old, who finally understood that their leaders were actually guilty of criminal behavior and sided with the prosecution to get rid of them. Now they hunker down, believe their own lies, and defy the law.
Yes, we must get out the vote, get people motivated, try to establish better safeguards to prevent foreign interference, and hammer these crooks out of office.
