Another racist Republican loon has slithered forward to call for Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN) to be hanged, this time for supposedly working secretly for the government of Qatar. Really. Rethug Congressional candidate and rageaholic George Buck of Florida sent out a fundraising letter last week that "we should hang these traitors where they stand." Since he used the plural of "traitor," Buck implied there were other Dems and opponents of their Dear Leader, but he neglected to list them. Then, in a predictably cowardly way, Buck later claimed he hadn't read his letter and that his campaign had sent it out, despite having signed it. He only didn't mean it after he got caught, that is. Dem Rep. Charlie Crist is in the seat Buck wants, in case you want to give Crist a boost, and send Buck and his ilk a message.
Just last week, one of Rep. Omar's Republican potential opponents in 2020, a felonious nut by the name of Danielle Stella, wrote on her Facebook page that Omar should be tried for treason and hanged if she shared sensitive information with Iran, a baseless and slanderous claim. The virulent language of hate and violence that these Republican hacks direct at a Member of Congress is a symptom of their warped and delusional view of the country: non-whites, non-Christians, and especially progressives should be targeted for lynching on their say so. These are dangerous people who need psychiatric treatment and not a seat in Congress.
