Sunday Reflections

Marie Skłodowska Curie, the Polish-born French naturalized chemist and physicist, won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1903. discovering radium and polonium. She also held the top professorial positions in physics at the Sorbonne. Some of Mme. Curie's thoughts:

"It is necessary to make a dream of life, and to make of a dream a reality."

"The older one gets the more one feels that the present moment must be enjoyed: it is a precious gift, comparable to a state of grace."

"First principle: never to let one’s self be beaten down by persons or by events."
