Eight Russian-made Katyusha rockets hit the Balad Air Base in northern Iraq today injuring four Iraqi soldiers. The Air Base is also home to U.S. military personnel in support of the Iraqi military. There was no word of American casualties. The Air Base was hit by Iranian rockets on January 4 in initial retaliation for the assassination of Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani.
After that initial attack appeared to be limited and did not result in American casualties, cowardly con artist and would-be despot Donald "Cadet Bone Spurs" Trump tried to reassure us that "all is well" after the Iranian missile strikes. This was after senior Iranian officials indicated it was a "slap in the face," and not the end of hostilities.
