When a poll commissioned by the Official State Network gives you these results --
-- you may not be "winning." Here's a breakdown of those numbers:
On impeachment, by a 50-44 percent margin, voters think the Senate should vote to convict Trump and remove him from office. Most Democrats say remove (81 percent) and most Republicans disagree (84 percent). Among independents, more say Trump should be removed by a 19-point margin (53-34 percent). (our emphasis)The poll was taken January 19-22, which is before House Democrats presented their case to the Senate. The numbers comport with a CNN poll from about a week earlier.
We await a Trump tweetstorm questioning whether Fox "News" should remain the Official State Network since they couldn't be trusted to skew the poll in his favor.
