Adam Schiff's Powerful Closer
Here's the last several minutes of Rep. Adam Schiff's closing argument this afternoon to convict Donald "Impeached Forever" Trump:
“If you find that the House has proved its case and still vote to acquit, your name will be tied to his with a cord of steel and for all of history. But if you find the courage to stand up to him, to speak the awful truth to his rank falsehood, your place will be among the Davids who took on Goliath.”
“If only you will say ‘enough!’”
(Clearly, in addressing the Republican "jurors," he had to say they were "decent," but we're certain he had his fingers crossed when he did.)

Schiff is classy, super intelligent, courageous and respectful. He's the opposite of any Republican and he is our best and brightest voice. We must not lose sight of the talent and skill that the House Team and Nancy Pelosi.
ReplyDeleteWe won't get an impeachment in the Senate, but we still have the greatest team on our side to pick up and move forward. Trump and McConnell will be insufferable, so we need our leadership to keep things together. I have felt discouraged in the face of all of the recent events, and it will be even more bitter when Trump is acquitted, but he'll be even more emboldened to commit crimes and we just have to keep our eyes open and get out the vote to get rid of him.
