The front page's approximately 1,000 names represent 1 percent of the total number of people who have died, at a minimum, from coronavirus in the U.S. to date. "An incalculable loss" indeed.

And then print ninety-seven of those pages to list all of those lost lives to date. It's unfathomable that this country has lost so many fellow human beings in such a short time.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is broken for those families and friends who have lost loved ones. There is no comfort for them as they watch a disgraced president out golfing while so many are dying. It's unspeakable.
donnah -- and to wonder how many of these lives could have been saved had that cancer in the White House put the country's interests above his own.
