In a disappointing piece of medical news, morbidly obese con man and unhinged demagogue Donald "Disinfectant Donnie" Trump said yesterday that he will be discontinuing taking hydroxychloroquine "in a couple of days." The drug is used for the treatment of malaria, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, not COVID-19, and can cause fatal heart rhythm problems as a side effect. Trump's announcement earlier in the week that he was taking the drug that his own FDA was warning against prompted blowback from the medical community.
What a supreme irony it would be if, after touting the drug to his gullible cult followers who will take it, Trump would suffer some of the ill effects of his reckless pill popping. Maybe he'll move on to injecting a disinfectant next. His lunacy continues.
BONUS: Confusion is also a side effect of hydroxychloroquine (not that he ever exhibited clarity) --
