Iowa Voters Flush Steve King

One of the most notorious bigots in Congress, and that's saying something, was defeated in a primary election yesterday. Iowa's despicable Rep. Steve King was defeated by Rethuglican voters in his district, which chose another wingnut, state Sen. Randy Feenstra to run in the November general election. Apparently the main difference between the two is Feenstra knows not to say the quiet parts out loud, which means he will fit in nicely with the Rethug Congressional caucus.

In other results from Iowa, Theresa Greenfield won the Dem primary and will face hog castrating Trump enabler Sen. Joni Ernst.  Greenfield, the daughter of a farm family who built a successful commercial real estate business, is facing an increasingly unpopular Ernst, whose approval rating has fallen to 47% in the wake of Trump's mishandling of the pandemic and farm policies. The seat is winnable, and Dems have a good candidate. If you have the means in these tough times to make a contribution to Greenfield's campaign, please go here.

Good-bye, racist rat. It's been terrible knowing you. And let's all see if we can get rid of even more Racist Rats in November.
