As has been pointed out, Republicans love to attack veterans who are Democrats (e.g., Max Cleland, John Kerry, who both got smeared by their Republican opponents and lost) and, sometimes, their own (e.g., John McCain). So, it shouldn't be a surprise that they're going after Sen. Duckworth now; after all, they're perfectly fine with letting Russia get away with putting bounties on the heads of American troops in Afghanistan, or for that matter, allowing a patriot like Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman be vilified by a worthless orange shitgibbon.
We await comment from the American Legion and VFW on Liddle Tucker's continuing attack on a decorated combat hero.
