One would think after wide mockery of her "tennis pavilion" project at the White (Supremacist) House, she'd lay off further meddling with the iconic property. One would be wrong. Her latest bungling is the remaking of the historic Rose Garden, the results of which are best illustrated by this photo:
Gone are the flowering crabapple trees planted by Jackie Kennedy, and the rose bushes planted by a succession of First Ladies since 1913. Grass was replaced by a concrete walk. The result is a cold, colorless space, one that reflects the brutalist Trumpian vision.
"Melanie" will be giving a likely plagiarized speech from the ruined Rose Garden during the Rethuglican convention next week. No word yet on whether her fashion choices will lean toward white colonialist or racist modern.
