Mid-Week Anniversary Song
Fifty-two years ago today, The Beatles released "Hey Jude" in the U.S. The song would go on to win accolades, appearing on numerous "greatest rock songs" lists, including Billboard's 10th biggest song of all time. According to Paul McCartney, the song was inspired by his concern for the emotional well- being of John Lennon's son Julian, following Lennon's divorce from his wife Cynthia (the working title had been "Hey Jules").

Thanks, Guys!! I think about Julian often. Esp. when John & Yoko had Sean. John doted on him so much. Even mentioned him in a song. I don't hear anything about Julian. Now he's without a Dad & Mom. SAD!!!
