My sis in Fremont, CA is grateful to not be in immediate danger, but she's struggling with the smoke and ash. They don't have a/c, so the smoke can't be filtered and it's unseasonably hot there, so fans are all they have for circulation, but they don't want to blow the smoke around. And they're having rolling blackouts for electricity. It's not the worst that can happen, but it's unpleasant.
ReplyDeletedonnah -- we hope they and all the folks in the West who are threatened by these fires stay safe and get through this as quickly as possible.
