The ability of Trump cultists to deny seeing what's right in front of them is the hallmark of brainwashing. Over many years, they've been conditioned by right-wing pols, media and culture to disregard and block out any facts that don't fit their false and rigid preconceptions. Their Dear Leader has literally told them not to believe what they see or hear, only believe him.
Even facts, carved in stone and sworn to be true, will not convince his loyal brainwashed cult. They will follow Trump to the bitter end and don't forget, they will become shrieking banshees if he loses, even more so than they are right now.
