Bethesda, Maryland artist Susan Brennan Firstenberg created this memorial in Washington, DC, to the nearly 225,000 people who have perished from the COVID-19 pandemic, each flag representing a victim. In addition to being an artist, Firstenberg has volunteered at hospices for 25 years, and understood the pain of families not being able to see their loved ones dying from the virus.
Sociopath and malignant narcissist Donald "COVID Donnie" Trump's criminal failure to stem the spread of the virus and his continuing encouragement of people to ignore public health warnings is why this happened in America.
