Last Night's Mismatch

Once again, we opted not to watch last night's "debate," but The Guardian did and put together this summary, which pretty clearly shows what a mismatch it was:

Polls also point to a mismatch, in what was COVID Donnie's last chance to make his case for re- election head- to- head with Joe Biden before a national audience.  Now, let's go full speed through the finish line!

BONUS: Joe Biden sums up Trump's ferocious lying at the debate:

I saw the first debate and may have been scarred for life, but I did come back to see last night's version. It was better, only because they got Trump to rein in his baser instincts. He did manage to lie at an impressive rate, sometimes three lies per sentence. His statistics in every question segment were pulled out of his ample ass, and had no relationship with truth. And he tried, albeit calmly, to smear Biden and his son and family, but most of that nonsense didn't hold up.

Biden won the debate and it was not even close. He didn't “edge out” a win, he rolled over Trump. Trump was still an abrasive, braying jackass and he lied the whole time.

Anyone who claims to be undecided at this point is an idiot. Sorry to hurt feelings, but if you cannot decide between these two candidates, I don't know how you dress yourself every day.

Vote. Vote for Biden.

donnah -- That's our take, too. The non-stop lying is being fact checked today, not that his cult will care. John Heilemann said Trump in the first debate was crystal meth, and quaaludes in the second. It's not likely that this will move numbers in either direction significantly.
