Disinfecting After COVID Donnie Leaves

 

Neo-fascist demagogue and unhinged narcissist Donald "COVID Donnie" Trump is doing everything he can to undermine the incoming Biden Administration, from issuing onerous Executive Orders that will have to be rescinded later to stalling or denying Biden transition team members access to information they'll need to run the Government after January 20.

There's also the very real health problem of preparing the White (Supremacist) House for the Bidens to move in. Kaiser Health News reports that the General Services Administration is planning a top-to-bottom disinfection of the Executive Mansion:

"As Joe Biden lifts his right hand to take the oath of office at noon on Jan. 20 at the Capitol, a team of specially trained cleaners will be lifting their hands to disinfect the White House.

The executive mansion will get a deep clean after two COVID-19 outbreaks this fall led to President Donald Trump and members of his staff and family becoming infected.

The departure of one president and the arrival of another is always a fast but highly synchronized behind-the-scenes ballet by White House staff members and moving crews.

But this year is different. The shift means more than rearranging the Oval Office and putting new clothes in bedroom closets: It means a top-to-bottom disinfection amid a pandemic. Biden, who at 78 is taking office as the oldest president in U.S. history, is at high risk of complications from the virus."

The fact that for the past 10 months, Trump's White (Supremacist) House has been a virtual petri dish for the virus puts increased importance on a thorough disinfection before the Bidens move in. 

There's also the aforementioned factor of a vindictive and malicious Trump trying to undermine the incoming Administration as much as possible. Could that involve delaying his departure from the Executive Mansion even by a few hours past noon on January 20?  Yes, given the deep narcissistic anger that's boiling within him. There are even reports that the Secret Service is thinking of enlisting Trump's daughter / object of his lust Ivanka to urge him to more out expeditiously, but given his derangement, he may prefer a dramatic bodily removal on the afternoon of January 20 to stir his cult's rage (and their contributions). The worst may be yet to come.
