President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden pause to salute Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick as his remains lie in honor last night in the Capitol rotunda.
Sicknick was murdered January 6 by rampaging Trumpist insurrectionists as he tried to defend the Capitol from their assault.
As September 11 is a day of national remembrance of a foreign terrorist attack, so should January 6 be a day of national remembrance for when our democratic republic was attacked from within by domestic terrorists at the urging of their cult leader, demagogue and mentally disturbed liar Donald "Mango Mussolini" Trump.

If you blow up the photo to full size you can see the genuine sadness in the eyes of both of them. It's impossible to imagine Trump with that expression.
Infidel -- Exactly right. They're decent, normal human beings, unlike the sick character that precipitated the officer's murder.
