Lying, Gaslighting Fascist Says What?

Last night on far-right propagandist Laura Ingraham's lie fest, a "special guest," sick seditionist cult leader Donald "Mango Mussolini" Trump, called in to embellish his Big Lie with a retelling of January 6's violent insurrection at the Capitol:

"It was zero threat, right from the start, it was zero threat. Look, they went in. They shouldn’t have done it. Some of them went in and they're hugging and kissing the police and the guards. You know, they had great relationships. A lot of the people were waved in, and then they walked in and they walked out. ... They're persecuting a lot of those people. And some of them should be — some things should happen to them."  (our emphasis)

The hugged and kissed Capitol and Metropolitan DC police so hard it killed one and sent some 140 others to the hospital for treatment of concussions, lacerations, etc. Trump sent them there on a mission: to halt the Constitutional confirmation of the Electoral College vote by force, and to maintain him in power illegally.

It's shocking but predictable that he'd lie in the face of literally hours of video evidence of the violent mob of his supporters trashing the Capitol and having pitched battles with police, as you can see in this viral compilation by the New York Times:

You can help law enforcement identify and arrest the StormTrumpers that rioted on January 6 by checking out the FBI site here and report them.
