One of history's greatest scientists, theoretical physicist Albert Einstein, whose birthday is observed today, with his thoughts on the power of imagination. His genius was not only in scientific expression but in the expanse of his imagination.
(Coincidentally, today, 3/14, is "Pi Day," celebrated by mathematicians for its identification with the mathematical constant π, or 3.14. We imagine that Einstein would have been amused by and appreciative of that.)
