New Ad Attacks NRA's Corruption

The Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund has a hard-hitting ad that's starting to run on cable and other outlets. It hits the National Rifle Rampage Association where it hurts: it's dismal credibility and its criminal waste of member dues to pad the bank accounts of the NRA's big spending leadership. We wrote recently about the legal problems the NRA is facing, especially with the the State of New York State. May those problems grow.

You can support the Action Fund here to keep these ads and public advocacy for gun safety laws going strong.

The NRA went from a decent group of gun owners who wanted to teach gun safety and reach out to others who enjoyed hunting and gun collections. Then it was money and politics taking over until it lost all credibility and now they're under scrutiny for mishandling funds. Hiding on a yacht is not a good look, Wayne.

Break them up, throw them in prison, disband the NRA.

donnah -- The State of New York is as close to breaking them up as at anytime in their history. As you note, there was a time when the NRA was a benign, apolitical group dedicated to hunting safety and sports shooting. They went to the dark side.
