Maryland's Republican Gov. Larry Hogan yesterday announced a State employee vaccination requirement and addressed the unvaccinated:
“You are willfully and unnecessarily putting yourself and others at risk of hospitalization and death. You are the ones threatening the freedoms of all the rest of us, the freedom not to wear masks, to keep our businesses open and to get our kids back in school, and tragically it may be only a matter of time until you do get COVID-19. We do not want any Marylanders or any more Americans to become one of these preventable stories, so please: Just get the damn vaccine." (our emphasis)
New Jersey's Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy addressing a group of anti-vaxx nutters who were heckling him Wednesday:
"These folks back there have lost their minds — you've lost your minds. You are the ultimate knuckleheads, and because of what you are saying and standing for, people are losing their life. People are losing their life and you have to know that. Look in the mirror." (our emphasis)
These governors and others stand in stark contrast to Floriduh's despicable Trumpist weasel, sociopath Gov. Ron "One Glove" DeSantis pretending there's "nothing to see here," while his state is a hotbed of Delta variant infections, hospitalizations and deaths as he works to undermine health protocols.
