Fascist Youth Confab: Lies, Threats, and Sedition

 

Yesterday was the final day of a conference of far right-wing loons under the brand "Amerika America Fest," hosted by Turning Point USA, a thuggish student "youth" group of would-be brown shirts. Featured speakers were the usual mashup of seditious political clowns like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Sarah Palin, as well as propagandists like the vile Jesse Watters (who suggested Dr. Fauci should be "ambushed") and white nationalist bigot Tucker Carlson.

All engaged the necessary ring kissing of their narcissistic cult leader that the 2020 election was "rigged." The gathering was also treated to a racial slur from Greene, who referred to Asian-Americans as "yellow people," to Watters' speech implying violence against Dr. Fauci, to an appearance by their newest icon, little active shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, fresh off of his blubbering defense on the witness stand of killing two people in Kenosha, WI, last year. 

The FascistFest even had their right-wing merch store to hawk kitsch to the young seditionists, where masking was optional even with the Omicron variant surging. You can't keep good brown shirts down.
