SCOTUS Verdict On Trump Papers Will Tank His Enablers

The Supreme Court's decision yesterday to allow the release of the Malignant Loser's records regarding his January 6 coup attempt is bad news for his stonewalling enablers, according to former acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal. Citing fascist provocateur and derelict impersonator Steve "Loose Cannon" Bannon and Trump's sedition whisperer Mark Meadows, Katyal says their anticipated, bogus claims of executive privilege took a big hit with the SCOTUS decision:

"It's a real problem for them. Remember, Steve Bannon has been indicted already for contempt for not giving these answers to Congress, so he's facing criminal charges. Mark Meadows is on his way to the same thing. Both of their defenses to contempt is executive privilege, and the Supreme Court today blew that out of the water.

So that means that these two individuals really do have to go and talk to the investigators in Congress, but it also more significantly means the Trump signature move – which is not just to hide these documents, but all these people from testifying on live televised hearings in Congress, he was going to invoke executive privilege for all that — that's now decimated by the Supreme Court's ruling." (our emphasis)

Indeed, as Katyal points out, the ruling impacts other Trumpist co-conspirators like his crazy, hair dye leaking consigliere Rudy "Toot Toot" Giuliani, those in the Willard Hotel's sedition "war room," on the stage urging the rioters on, the riot's financiers, and many others behind the scene attempting to overthrow the incoming administration. Hopefully, as he says, it's "a real nail in the coffin for them."
