The Canadian Broadcasting Co. reports that two of the far-right organizers of the Canadian trucker thug siege have been arrested by Ottawa police:
"Two key organizers of the so-called Freedom Convoy, Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, have been arrested in Ottawa.
Ottawa police took each into custody in separate arrests and both remained in police custody on Friday.
Lich and Barber are each charged with counselling to commit mischief. Barber is also charged with counselling to disobey a court order and counselling to obstruct police.
The two have been described as key leaders of the occupation in Ottawa, which has now hit the three-week mark. Their arrests were among several made Thursday and Friday. Barber was seen a few blocks from Parliament Hill in handcuffs between two police officers." (our emphasis)
The Canadian trucker thugs, a tiny minority in the trucker community, have been touted by far-right wingers in the U.S., most prominently the Malignant Loser, Sen. "Cancun" Ted Cruz, Rep. Marjorie "Traitor" Greene and the Fox "News" Channel. Their dream is to use truckers of a like mind in the U.S. to disrupt the economy and political life in advance of the 2022 mid-terms, regardless of the cost to working families from supply chain interruptions and factory layoffs. Those costs just to the auto industry are estimated at $300 million.
