Canadian Martin Joseph Anglehart has regrets. He went all-in on the right-wing "Freedom Convoy" truckers protesting COVID mandates intended to save lives. Now, he's living in a van down by the river in his SUV. The Canadian Broadcasting Company has the details:
"A protester who joined the so-called Freedom Convoy, which occupied downtown Ottawa for much of February, says he regrets taking part after he lost $13,000 and his home protesting something he never really 'had a stance on.'
'I regret going,' said Martin Joseph Anglehart, who spoke to CBC via Zoom from Hope, B.C.
Anglehart said he has 'nothing left' after spending his life savings on gas and food for the occupiers, who disrupted Ottawa's downtown core for more than three weeks."
As a result of his decision to support the lawless truckers, his banking account was frozen under Canada's Emergencies Act, along with over 250 more truckers and wingers supporting the truckers. There's more bad news for Anglehart, the truckers and their facilitators in Canada and the U.S.: a $300 million class action lawsuit from Ottawa residents and businesses who lost money during the long siege. Regrets, he has regrets.
BONUS: Meanwhile, on this side of the border, our own inbred Freedumb Convoy truckers are having to pee in their pants as they waste time and fuel circling the Capital Beltway. What a damn shame.
