Russia's Counsellor to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, has abruptly resigned over Putin's war of aggression and territorial expansion. Boris Bondarev delivered his resignation statement to his superiors this morning, and released it to fellow diplomats and others in an effort to start an exodus from the Russian Foreign Ministry. The courage it took to have made such a public move is huge, as he'll undoubtedly face severe penalties for his honesty ("aggressive war unleashed by Putin," "serious crime against the people of Russia," the Russian Foreign Ministry is "all about warmongering, lies and hatred," etc.). We hope he can find safety somewhere in the aftermath of his resignation.
