The indelible side-by-side image of cowardly demagogue and Trump towel boy Sen. Josh Hawley (Sedition-MO) raising a fist to encourage the January 6 mob, only to be shown running for his despicable life hours later, is golden. The House Committee on January 6 unveiled the running Hawley following the raised fist last night in prime time, prompting laughter in the hearing room. Former RNC Chair Michael Steele described it as "a complete and utter political emasculation," and it's already surged on Twitter and beyond (see our Tweets of the Day, below).
Missouri's leading newspapers, the Kansas City Star and St. Louis Post-Dispatch, made sure their readerships saw this image in their editions this morning. Hawley is up for reelection in 2024, and we hope that this will stick to him like stink on poop.
