Republican Candidate Vetting, Tudor Dixon Edition

This story has been swirling around local Michigan press for a few months, but now that election-denier Tudor Dixon is the Republican / Malignant Loser-endorsed candidate for Governor of Michigan, it may receive more attention. Ms. Dixon seems to have had a try at a badly-made film, specifically the vampire porn genre:

Perhaps you recall Christine O'Donnell, the 2010 Republican candidate for Senate in Delaware, whose bizarre private life forced her to cut an ad announcing that "I'm not a witch." That was a brilliant move.

We can laugh about the shoddy vetting process for Republican candidates, but Dixon's positions on women's reproductive rights (no exceptions for rape, or incest), LGBTQ+ rights, free and fair elections and more are seriously terrible. But when that's all you care about, vetting takes a back seat.
