The Malignant Loser likes to wield his endorsement to maintain his grip on his Republican cult. Sometimes it works (Mehmet Oz for Senator in Pennsylvania), sometimes it fails (David Perdue for Governor in Georgia), and sometimes it looks positively comical (Herschel Walker for Senator in Georgia). Now, he's playing candidates for the Senate in Missouri off against one another, the wife-abusing former Governor Eric Greitens and the right-wing radical Attorney General Eric Schmidt by endorsing just "Eric" in his endorsement statement. (There's also a longshot by the name of Eric McElroy in the race). As Politico reports, the split decision was the result of fierce lobbying session by a number of the Malignant Loser's enablers up in Bedminster:
"It marked the end of the chaotic seven hours in Trump world, as the former president’s future daughter-in-law, his handpicked Republican National Committee chairwoman, Missouri’s junior senator and a host of other party operatives and Trump allies jostled over who the former president should endorse in the tumultuous Missouri Senate primary, where polling places were set to open less than 24 hours later.
Trump kicked off the private lobbying spree late Monday morning, when he posted on social media that he would be making his endorsement official that day — without mentioning that he apparently had not yet made his final choice. What transpired over the course of the afternoon illustrates the anarchical nature of Trump’s endorsement process. While the much-coveted endorsement is one of Trump’s greatest assets and his chief political weapon, how he decides who gets one is often more improvisational than scripted."
The group supporting Schmidt consisted of RNC chair Ronna "Romney" McDaniel and cowardly Sen. Josh "Hawling Ass" Hawley, and the group supporting Greitens consisted of Greasy Don Jr. and his older partner, screeching Kimberly Guilfoyle. The former group made the point that Greitens was lagging in the polls due to his infamous personal history, and would be a weaker candidate. Nevertheless, the Malignant Loser decided to pass the buck and keep his endorsement vague. The leading "Eric" candidates immediately ran ads laughingly touting their "endorsement" by the Malignant Loser. Sad and pathetic!
