Yesterday the attorneys for the Malignant Loser filed an appeal with the Supreme Court to overturn the decision by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and allow his lawyers to inspect the 100-some classified documents he illegally removed from the White House. Trump cult member District Judge Aileen Cannon had ruled that the "special master" appointed by her could review not only non-classified documents gathered in the August 8 search of Trump's Florida estate, but the classified documents, too. The Appeals court had ruled, in a harshly critical opinion of Judge Cannon jurisprudence, that there was no legal justification for the special master to review the classified materials.
The appeal for "emergency relief" was submitted to far-right "Justice" Clarence Thomas, spouse of lunatic Trump zealot Ginni Thomas, who's facing scrutiny for her actions in support of the coup after Trump's 2020 election defeat. Thomas receives emergency motions concerning the 11 Circuit in his role on the Supreme Court. Thomas has asked the Justice Department to respond to the appeal by Tuesday, October 11, not a good sign for the Malignant Loser's chances.
Some quick takes from legal experts:
Just watch SCOTUS turn Trump down 9-0. (Or 8-1 if Thomas dissents . . . ) Will The Donald start calling "his" three justices traitors? Will he say they have a "death wish" as he did with McConnell? https://t.co/LyMldDJqzi

Trump takes an appeal to the Supreme Court over the Mar-a-Lago search. No surprise here, this was why he paid former Florida Solicitor General Chris Kise $3 million to sign on, no one else on his team could handle this. SCOTUS should send him packing. https://t.co/bOk71j2OJQ

Just to be clear, this delay doesn’t help Trump. At all. It’s a pretty big sign from Thomas that even *he* isn’t in a hurry, which does not bode well for Trump’s chances of getting the full Court to side with him.
