Afro-Americans Resented "Jim Crow" Candidacy Of Walker

The Malignant Loser-endorsed candidate for the Senate from Georgia Herschel "How Many Abortions" Walker can return to his home in Texas now, presumably to try to repair his damaged image as a result of his misbegotten run for office. In fact, it wasn't his run, but that of the corrupt and cynical Republican / New Confederate / Forced Birth party that set him up and caused his humiliation. During the runoff period, we saw the ever-despicable cowards Sens. Lindsey "Huckleberry" Graham (Sedition - SC) and "Cancun Ted" Cruz (Sedition-TX) act as bookends the hapless and clueless Walker on TV appearances on Fox and other right-wing propaganda outlets, literally speaking for him as he sat there and looked lost.

Dr. Peniel Joseph of the University of Texas writes about the shameless manipulation of a racist, Trumpist Republican party that clearly doesn't respect the intelligence of African-Americans, as evidenced by putting a totally unfit Walker forward as their candidate:

"I grieve for the parts of America that enthusiastically embraced Walker’s candidacy. Some people are hopelessly unaware of the negative message their support of him sent to millions of Black Americans, who won’t soon forget it.

The GOP embrace of Walker represents an American tragedy. Walker’s behavior on the campaign trail included incoherent ramblings about movies and farm animals, nonsensical asides that went nowhere and dancing in front of overwhelmingly White audiences in bizarre scenes that recalled the minstrel shows of the Jim Crow era. The whiff of the Jim Crow era’s objectification of Black men as intellectually feeble but physically powerful grew stronger as Walker’s humiliating campaign continued to showcase the GOP’s failure to understand or connect with Black voters."  (our emphasis)

They knew of Walker's past abuse of women, his affairs (and probably the abortions he paid for), and pattern of lying about his resume, but given the blessing of the Malignant Loser (who shares some of Walker's sins), they propped him up anyway. As African-American pastor Jamal Bryant said in this angry viral video, Walker wasn't his own man:

Still, Walker came out of the election with more dignity than the Malignant Loser, Graham, Cruz and the rest. He made a decent concession speech, and didn't lie about election fraud, as the aforementioned liars would have done. It may have been a realization that Georgia's 2020 elections were stung by the same cast of clowns, and trying it again wasn't an option. But whatever the reason, at least he can brush the dirt off that they put on him.
