Just before the Writers Guild of America went on strike at midnight, Stephen Colbert returned from a week off to deliver a classic monologue. Topics included the firing of Tovarich Tucker Carlson, Biden's reelection announcement and age, and "Broken Robot in the Hall of Never Going to be Presidents" Ron DeSantis' trip abroad.
We hope the strike is resolved quickly in favor of the writers so that we can continue to enjoy their work in an equitable entertainment industry.
